Abstract:Sliding mode control is suitable for highorder nonlinear system, however, it is still a challenge to present the rapid and effective verification in application of such advanced control algorithms. For this reason, a fastverification hardwareintheloop simulation scheme is proposed in this paper for highpower highperformance speed control system. Firstly, sliding mode control algorithm is deduced for highperformance induction motor speed control. Based on the analysis of hardwareinloop simulation mechanism, a realtime simulation model for induction motor is designed and built. The hardwareinloop simulation is implemented using PI control and sliding mode control algorithm respectively, the superiority of sliding mode control strategy and the effectiveness of the realtime platform are verified.
